happy, shiny days! (...and it's definitely not due to the weather. ugh.)

okay, yeah, the weather totally sucks - but life is good. sooo good.

Things that have made me happy this week:
1. got my FOB tickets in the mail.
2. got the first TAI album. definitely different from Santi, but there's a couple of absolute gems on it. i can't really beat FBR's prices, man i love indie-type labels.
3. totally got MCR's Black Parade in (yes, i know i'm late. humph.) dude. DUDE. i do believe i am totally, totally in love with them now. not that i wasn't before because come on, I'm Not Okay? one of my favourite songs in the history of the world. i mean, i've got Goonies love for it, okay?

Things that make me happy this month:
1. FOB concert. srsly. (man, i so want to be in the pit ::sigh:: )
2. MELINDA (just in general, okay, but also because IT'S HER BIRTHDAY.)
3. Spiderman 3 & PotC: World's End premieres
4. the week of May 7th (thus dubbed CONCERT WEEK FROM HELL, but oh-so-much-fun.): 05/09 Poison the Well, 05/10 Sanctus Real, 05/11 MxPx w/ The Classic Crime, 05/12 FALL OUT BOY w/ THE ACADEMY IS..., COBRA STARSHIP (oh gabe of midtown fame, how i love your basement), +44 (dude. 1/2 of Blink 182, yay!) and Paul Wall. (i could care less, um, sorry.) - and yes, this gets capslocked because I AM THAT EXCITED.
5. new cd from The Used - omg, finally.
6. Hellogoodby in OKC (on a wednesday, wtf?)

What makes me happy this year (so far):
1. WARPED TOUR. yes, after years of wanting to go, i finally am. go me!!
2. Transformers. (thankyougodbutpleasedon'tletthissuckballs)
3. Harry Potter. book AND movie. (oh, shut up. i'm happy about it, okay?)
4. YCon (heh. i'm sooo not explaining this one.)
5. oh yeah, FAIRY BALL. (dude. it's like prom for geeks. YES.)

...man, that's a lot of shiny, ne?

okay, i think i'm done for now.  maybe.

OMG. i am so excited about the HCT that it's not even funny. srsly. i squealed out loud when i opened by ticket envelope because i had no idea and was just randomly opening my mail (like you do) but yeah. squeal-age.

aaaah, fairy ball, how i love thee! it's a fundraiser for the anime convention (http://www.tokyointulsa.com/) that we're throwing in 2008 (i'm in charge of panels and such, so it should be interesting. for me at least, lol) - you should totally enter the fanfiction contest! plus if you come, you can stay with me!! (heh. what's better than complete strangers offering you a place to stay? :P ) - but anyway, it's a high-court ball, so formals only, masks, we have dancers and bards and sword fights/challenges...it should be a blast. i really have to get off my ass and get my gown ready ::sigh::

and ycon is definitely, yaoicon which omg. is like the best thing on the planet. this will be my? fourth year? cripes, it's a total blast and i highly recommend it. once again, if you get to come, i've got 2 rooms reserved right now, so you've got a place to stay. ::is ycon pimp::

...and finally, omg. the christian bale banner on your profile. shit. i have...no words, actually....i've been in love with him since Newsies (and omg, does that date me)

wow. i think this is almost as long as my journal entry, lol. and thanks for keeping me from work :P

I ran around the house with my tickets when I got them. And jumped around lots. THREE DAYS OMG!!!!

Oh man. If I had the money? I would SO be at ycon hardcore. My friend and I promised each other we'd go once we were of age and I am and I think she is soon so hopefully within the next couple of years.

ooh! that's a grand idea! i've never been to an arena concert (that i can remember) so i have no idea how that stuff is going to be set up...

but yeah. that whole week, i'll probably be absolutely annoyingingly happy. people will want to hurt me, i'm sure of it.
