words_unravel | happy christmas eve day!

i woke up at 6am this morning. a full hour and a half before my alarm was set to go off. looking back at this very moment, it was probably for the best.

so far today, i have:

been to the grocery store (surprisingly at 645 in the morning it was quite busy, lol)

made cherry cream cheese pie (currently settling in the fridge)

brown the ground beef to go in the green chili stew

sliced and diced my way through a bag of potatoes, also carrots (all currently coming to a boil on the back burner)

put together a double batch of green bean casserole (currently warming its way up in my stove)

i feel fairly accomplished! and now i have to go make myself presentable for my roommate's relatives and pray that all of this crap is ready by the time we have to leave. *sigh*

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY HOLIDAY/WHATEVER YOU ARE CELEBRATING (LIFE) AT THIS TIME. I LOVE YOU GUYS MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW.
