i was just talking to someone about how surprised i was that the majority of big bangs are the top four traditional pairings: brendon/ryan, jon/spencer, pete/patrick and frank/gerard. it's kind of disappointing.

and then i feel bad for complaining because the writers spent a lot of time and effort and i just, well, don't want to read that pairing. ugh. i have to admit to thoughts of all the new authors this year that i hadn't heard of, whether it's the slashatthedisco-ers growing up and moving up so to speak since i know that brendon/ryan is usually the big otp there. i don't know *sigh*.

I FEEL THE SAME. i just. ryan/brendon is nice and all sometimes, but I don't want to read 8 consecutive fics about them. each 40,000 words. seriously. and when I come across one that DOES have an original pairing, it's usually one that squicks me /o\
lol complain complain.
