Okay. That's it.

No more death fics for me. None. Not a one. *growls* The last one I read had me a blue funk for two days. Two whole days, I tell you! Over fictional characters. *sigh*

So you'd think I'd have learned my lesson, ne?

So now I'm sitting here at work writing out this entry to post later (which would be now obviously) and I keep feeling little moments of sadness at odd times. I'd stop what I was doing, realizing my mind was wandering towards the fic I read last night. Now, don't get me wrong, this fic by Emma Grant (emmagrant01) was bloody fantastic but some of the characters had died previous to the current events in the fic. And so that's what kept popping into my head at odd times today.

So, that's it. No more deathfics. Although this story technically wasn't a deathfic, the character death in general is apparently enough to mess with my mind. *sigh* I so don't wanna know what this says about my grasp on reality (tentative at best anyway) and my ability to handle death (what ability?)

Anyway, really had to get that off my chest. On the other hand, I feel pretty damn good for only getting three hours of sleep last night (i told you it was a darn good fic!).

And so now it's almost time for my rp pals to come online and play. Tonight I would like to devote my full attention to rp-ing but sometimes I get distracted. Yanno, fics to read, fics to write (ack! deadline for one contest in three days!), all that HTML/CSS I want to learn, email and lj stuff...

Man, if only my RL were as busy as the time I spend on the computer...geez, I'm soooo pathetic...

But happy. Well, for the most part anyways.

And that's what counts, ne?

Oddly, I'm sad for you but that WuFei icon makes better. Is it wrong? 'Specially since I pointed out the fic in the first place? I had actually forgotten about the character death, since it didn't really affect the story much. Sorry. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

I really need to get more inspirational icons. :(

man, i was gonna tell you i like this particular naruto icon you've got up there, but i forgot...*hangs head*...i made a crawford/schuldig icon, but i couldn't choose which one of my other three icons to take off, so i ended up not putting it up...

I'm glas you liked it. I can't really take credit for it though. I heard about it from Ally, I think. It was making the rounds through the LJ set a while back.

So which Naruto icon do you like? This one or the one above, which looks almost serious. Or do you mean one that I don't have?

I hear your pain about having only so much space for free LJ icons. I really need to get someone to make a Rex icon for me. :D He's like a red-haired Shuichi. Too cute.

That's where I was thinking of getting a new icon from. Shuichi from Vol 6, there's a pic of him in the front of the book that looks perfect.
