i love that both these songs are so...whimsical? melancholic? brendon's is especially stage-worthy? like it belongs in a musical of some sort.

also, i can totally believe that the stuff they put on the shelf sounded like a soundtrack, lol, after brendon's song especially. :D

i have, too! like i said above, i just love the whole melancholy sound, especially ryan's song. and brendon's song just makes me yearn for being on stage *sigh*

i am so excited for this album, i cannot lie. i love that it's a different direction musically, but that it's still them, you know?

rightrightright?! Do You Know What I'm Seeing and Brendon's voice is just. it sounds like a stage show/musical type song!

now i want an AU with Brendon as a small-time actor trying to make it on Broadway and eventually lands a part in an off-off Broadway show where Spencer is the stage manager and Ross runs the orchestra (AHAHAHAHA) and Jon is, idk, Jon. and there's drama when Brendon and the female lead, Audrey get together and then break up and Spencer and/or Jon and/or Ryan help him get over it. and the show is a raging failure! or not! but there's sex involved! and then love! and omg, i have to step away now and get read to see the Dropkick Murphys this evening, geez.
