anyway, sceaterian asked me to do a picspam on a certain item of clothing (which i aim to do!) but she also linked me to a vid of the Rolling Stone shoot that Panic did last year. i had the other vid, the one where spencer cracks everybody's ass up with the awesome hooker story, but i had not seen this one which basically follows them as they go about the actual photoshoot.

this vid is notable, not only for the adorableness of jon walker pouting, brendon's evil muppet face, and ryan deciding whether he likes a little bang in the face or fully swept back, BUT ALSO FOR THIS:

Yah there are a ouple of moments I love. I like scrinchy face Ryan in the mirror as well as Brendon starting his eye make up and we see how the white tee he's wearing has been pinned in the back to hug his frame better. There are some lovely Ryan/Brendon and Ryan/Jon moments. I also love Spencer talking to the behind the scenes people while the other boys arrange themselves on the set.

because every date except vegas has tickets opening up on the 2nd. presale for those should go up on the 29th/30th? maybe?

all i know is i have a shitload of tickets to buy because there's 4 (at least) for tulsa, 3 for dallas, 4 for kansas city...and then 1 (possibly 2) for chicago and 1 for vegas.

i figure it's easier if i just get the tickets, since i know at least a couple of people won't have access to the presale site (whatever it may be) due to firewall issues.

my empty bank account, let me show you it. :P:P

hmmm, the palladium in dallas is GA and it looks like the uptown theatre in kansas city is as well, so hopefully all we'll have to worry about there is standing in line for ages, lol.

I love how Ryan totally refuses to jump at the end. And I totally want to write fic about how they're always being plucked and prodded and made up and sometimes Spencer just wants to be able to put his own eyeliner on. Or pick out his own ugly suit.

It's not that Spencer minds, actually. It's just. Sometimes he gets tired of people touching him, stepping up into his space and claiming him for their own. They'll mark him in dark tones, black eyeliner and dark blue eyeshadow.

Sometimes it's just a little too much.

Not enough privacy when he's changing, not enough time to get from one room to the other without assistance. Not enough space to breathe.

He's constantly being touched. The soft skin of the photographer's assistant brushing against his. The rough feel of unwashed fabric rubbing over his shoulders, sides.

Late at night, Ryan breathing quietly in the bed next to him, Spencer tries to take deep breaths. Counts to one hundred, two hundred, three hundred.

It doesn't seem like it'll ever enough.

Not when Jon's hugs make him stiff and desperate to pull away, when Brendon's fingers against the back of his neck make him breathe a little too hard, when Ryan's hand on his arm isn't reassuring anymore.

Spencer just wants to be able to breathe again.
