ah man, the vacation's over...

words_unravelwell, although it's a bit late, i hope everyone had a great fourth of july weekend...and if you aren't in the US, i just hope you had a great weekend period...
anyway, the ole family reunion was an absolute blast...got to see family i hadn't seen in ages (or ever!), ate WAY too much food, and didn't get nearly enough sleep...
the last two days at work have been interesting...helped set up our booth at the Palomino World Show and manned the booth for half a day, and back to the same tomorrow morning...let's just hope noone asks any really tuff questions...lol
i'm in a fairly productive mood so i am gonna try to get some work done on the story i started for the charity cd that tricia wrote about...also need to pay bills, find a REALLY cheap ticket to las vegas, design a logo and background for my cousin's website, and try to figure out how to get my budget to fit all the stuff i need/want to do in the next few months...
was reading the blog of my favorite author, Laurell K. Hamilton, and was once again reminded why i love her so much, her way with words, the true emotion i get just from reading what she does/thinks during the day is inspiring to me...this quote just hit me, it's not anything big but if you read it in context with the rest, you can just see the passion she has for her stories and characters... And that is how you know that you're where you need to begin, because it makes everything that comes after make more sense, have more purpose....if you wanna read the rest just go here....
