Why does it seem that writing comes easily to some people?


Regardless, I did get nearly 1600 words on paper (figuratively) and good starts on both help_haiti fics as well as a Brendon excerpt for a minori ad maius so I'll take it as a win.


Seriously though, I want to write. Why is it so hard? /grumpy

Writing for me is a a horrible tortuous practice, that only ever seems to produce anything at 2am when I am on the verge of unconsciousness. Which is probably why I haven't written much since I've started going to bed at a decent hour. It makes me wonder why I love it.

Yes, to all of that. It's like some nights I'm about to drift off and WHAM! idea/words/etc. And I'm all 'Why couldn't you do this three hours ago when I had the time to write?' ARGH.

Mostly I've just been trying to sit down and do some kind of writing, but it always seems to be crap. And then something will happen and I'll write until my wrists ache and I'll love that. I swear, it's frustrating as all get out.
