anyone know of any other IM programs like meebo or trillian? especially downloadable ones?

Pidgin Portable. http://portableapps.com/apps

A downloadable [and small] program that runs AIM, Yahoo, MSN [and I think some others] chats and buddy lists in one program.

gaim. also runs just about anything, and in one little tabbed window. it's what i use.
