I haven't heard the alternate version of Northern Downpour (mostly because I've been attempting to work myself to death). I love the simple musicality of Pretty. Odd. I think it shows so much more range in all of their abilities than AFYCSO. Personally I'm rooting for a stripped down PATD third album, and Brendon doing an indie folk solo project.
